Hair Care Tips

Hi Probabes, we want to inform you on how to treat your 100% RAW Indian Bundles. Dee’s Professions will not be held accountable for any improper treatment or damage caused after purchasing. Here are 8 things to consider when purchasing your bundles.

  1. PROTECTION : Bundles should be taken care as if it were your natural hair. Make sure your protecting them when installed.  We highly recommend silk or satin bonnets & pillow cases when sleeping
  2. LIGHTENING : If you plan to lift/bleach your natural color bundles, please do not use harsh chemicals. I highly recommend BW2 and 30 Volume Developer. High Volume Developers & Other Lighteners should be used in a PROFESSIONAL setting ONLY. Being that these are extremely strong chemicals, improper use can lead to damaged hair.
  3. PRODUCTS : One of the biggest MYTHS is that you can use any products when shampooing and caring for your bundles. Always wash your hair with a good clarifying shampoo, then go behind with hydrating shampoo and a good conditioner (preferably from the same line). I recommend any Design Essentials or Paul Mitchell products. We recommend rinsing out the conditioner with cold water  to ensure those cuticles stay laid. These steps are essential if you plan on maintaining longevity & reinstalling your bundles. Please make sure your hair is completely dry and that the conditioner is thoroughly rinsed out before you install.
  4. HEAT. If you flat iron or curl your hair, keep it at a decent temperature. Especially with 613(Blonde). You don't want to overly heat your hair. Too high heat can also strip the hair of its color and moisture. It's rare, but it IS possible. If you insist on turning the heat up, PLEASE use a good heat protectant. We recommend Bio Silk Serum and Chi Iron Guard. Apply Bio Silk while the hair is damp. Make sure the hair is completely dry. Spray each section with Iron Guard before making a flat iron pass or curl.
  5. HOLDING SPRAY : You do not need to put excessive products in your hair. However, if you plan on using a holding spray or spritz to accomplish certain looks, it may cause the hair to dry out. Make sure to do a proper shampoo & deep condition if needed, to restore the hair.
  6. CUTTING/SEALING WEFTS : We do NOT recommend cutting your bundles when installing. Cutting the wefts can lead to shedding. Please keep cuts to a minimum. If you insist on cutting them, we recommend using Salon Pro 30 Second EasyTrack weft sealer to keep the shedding at a low.
  7. COLOR : When coloring 613 hair be mindful of the hair color you use. I highly recommend "ADORE". When coloring hair, please make sure it is throughly rinsed out and conditioned before installing the hair. *GEM* ~ use clear after coloring to keep color from bleeding
  8. SAFETY : Please make sure you are only using hair products in your hair. All glue is not safe for your hair. It can get in your hair and cause damage. Please only use salon recommended hair products.
